TL-STING (UK) LTD are proud to announce that BOEING have joined forces with the Royal Air Force and the Air League to provide a STING S4 Light Sports Aircraft Kit, to be assembled by Air Cadets in Northern Ireland as part of their Air Cadet Learning Program.
The program is intended to enhance the existing RAF Air Training Corps Cadets’ curriculum with hands-on practical application of classroom theory.
The aim is to inspire young people in Britain to study science; technical, engineering and maths, subjects. (STEM)
The carbon composite aircraft kit is manufactured in the Czech Republic by the renowned TL-Ultralight s. r .o. and supplied through UK Agents Paul Sanders and Peter Ronfell (www.Stingaircraft.co.uk).
The aircraft is a two seat 600Kg MTOM Light Sports Aircraft approved through the Light Aircraft Association. This allows for a Permit to Fly based on the amateur build rules supervised by an LAA Inspector, with ongoing maintenance possible by the owner.
