The wings are easily removable for storage or maintenance. The procedure requires three people and takes about 25 minutes. The photos show the wing root and the spar being inserted in the D-box.
The high wing Sirius is equally straightforward although the cockpit head-panel must be removed first to gain access to disconnect the fuel hoses and wing bolts etc. Removal as a matter of routine for short term hangarage purposes is not recommended.
