T L – UK Sting Carbon Sport (S4)

Now available as either a factory built Light Sport Microlight via the BMAA or as a “Permit” aircraft via the LAA.

PRICE LIST:

Carbon composite construction ensures a strong corrosion proof long lifespan. The aircraft is pre-painted in white included in the price. Aluminium based aircraft kits commonly require several thousand pounds of additional corrosion proofing and paintwork. Please factor this in when comparing prices.

Standard aircraft includes:

  • Rotax 912 ULS Engine (100HP) with Soft Start and Slipper Clutch
  • Kiev fixed pitch propeller (ground adjustable). Electrically operated flaps.
  • Junkers Ballistic Recovery System
  • Blue tinted canopy, two stage flaps, 77 litre fuel tank
  • Easy adjustment pedals positioning
  • Two stage electric flaps
  • Cabin heat, seat belts, fire extinguisher
  • Standard flight instruments: ASI, VSI, Alti, Compass, Bubble, pitot system.
  • Standard analogue engine instruments: Tacho, Oil & Water T’s and P’s
  • Manifold pressure, oil pressure, fuel pressure, Hobbs hours meter.
  • Steerable nose leg, split rim wheel hubs
  • Mains and nose leg spats, tie down rings.
  • Wiring loom & strobes
  • Panel “holes” factory cut to your instrument panel design.
  • Circuit breakers, ignition switch

  • Upgrade to Powermax variable pitch prop £3,616.00 plus vat
  • Aerotow option £2,000.00 plus Vat
  • Glass panel, VHF radio, Transponders as required at locally sourced cost or ask for quote.
  • Below is a  good example of a Sting largely “analogue” cost effective panel. With the strong demand for Skydemon on Ipad as the main navigation source, The Garmin G5 AH also acts as a strong GPS source for the GMC507 Autopilot. The Trig radio and Transponder complement this very neat panel arrangement.
